THE VALUE OF TIME

Time and tide wait for none - goes the proverb. The proverb says the importance of time. In fact, value of time in our life is great. Life is short, but responsibilities are huge indeed. So, if we do not use time properly, we cannot complete our work in our short life-time. We have to leave behind a lot of works undone. So every moment of our lift is precious. We may get our lost wealth by labour, Lost health by medicine and food, but time once lost, is never gained. Indeed, to kill time means to kill future. This is true to every sphere of life. Prosperous nations are those that do not waste any moment. We, the Indians, should learn lessons from them.

VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND ITS IMPORTANCE

Vocational education means educational training that provides a student with practical experience in a particular educational field. Now, in India we find a large army of unemployed educated youths vainly look for jobs. Hence, there is an urgent need to train oneself for some useful vocation that can help one to learn a living. Vocational education is preferable to the traditional one for a large section of students as it will help them to help themselves. Students, having vocational education, will enjoy greater employment opportunities in the growing industries. Even there is scope for self-employment for specially trained youths. Thus, youthful energy can be properly utilized for socially useful productive works. If properly trained, there will be no dearth of supply of skilled hands to different productive centres. Hence, there is wider scope of expanding Vocational Education centres.
